Glen Williams is a heritage hamlet on the Credit River just north of Georgetown, with a housing stock weighted heavily toward the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and a strong preservation character.

Ceilings here are predominantly the older case: original plaster, often with sprayed texture added during a mid-century update. Removal on plaster is slower and more careful work than on drywall, and the condition of what is underneath is genuinely unknown until the texture comes off — which is why we quote these in person rather than over the phone, and why we say plainly that plaster jobs can need more repair than a drywall equivalent.
