Maple kept a small historic village core around Keele Street, but the overwhelming share of its housing arrived in the growth waves of the late 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Stipple ceilings remained a common builder finish through much of that period, so Maple homeowners deal with dated texture even in homes that never had an asbestos question.

That makes most Maple jobs the straightforward case: no lab work, newer drywall in good condition underneath, and larger open-plan main floors where the transformation is dramatic. The exception is the old village core and any home renovated before 1980, which we test first as standard practice.
