Popcorn ceiling removal is messy work, but we contain the mess and protect your home. Before we scrape anything, we move or cover your furniture, tape and poly-sheet the walls, and lay drop sheets over every floor in the work area. We wet the texture first to keep dust down, then scrape, apply two skim coats, prime and paint. Sanding is the dustiest step, so we seal doorways and vacuum as we go.

• Furniture: large pieces are moved to the room's center and wrapped, or taken out of the room entirely.
• Cleanup: we leave your home broom-clean every day.
• Asbestos: homes built before the mid-1980s may have asbestos in the texture. Under Ontario Regulation 278/05, testing is required before we disturb it. We coordinate testing at cost, $300 to $500, with no markup.

Pricing is all-inclusive: $4.50/sqft for unpainted ceilings, $6.50 for latex-painted and $7.50 for oil-base painted.
